The Thelma Hulbert Gallery has changed! The Gallery now occupies the whole of Elmfield House in Honiton, an attractive Grade II late Georgian town house, formerly the home and studio of the artist Thelma Hulbert. East Devon District Council bought the house following the artist’s death in 1995, opening the first floor as a public gallery in 1998.

Thanks to support from Arts Council England and East Devon District Council the Thelma Hulbert Gallery now boasts a stunning ground floor temporary exhibitions space; formerly Thelma’s studio, a dedicated Learning Room, a Project Space and a Shop & Refreshments area, whilst retaining a room dedicated to the work of Thelma Hulbert.
