Present Makers 2022

12 November 2022 to 24 December 2022

Annual Christmas selling exhibition of contemporary craft

*Open 10am - 5pm. We are open 10am - 3pm on Christmas Eve for last minute Christmas shopping*

A leading exhibition in the UK’s craft calendar, Present Makers 2022 features original, hand-crafted gift ideas showcasing the talent and innovation of contemporary craftspeople and design makers in the South West.

From open submissions, entries have been selected to highlight the quality, variety and inspiration of local designer makers working across a range of materials including jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints, glass and wood.

This year’s theme is nature, whether this is natural materials used, colours inspired by nature or sustainable making processes. We are shining a spotlight on key jewellery and ceramics collections and are delighted to showcase the work of emerging makers.

THG is proud to support South West designer makers through our programme of selling showcases in the gallery and our gallery shop. We pride ourselves on working with and supporting our local artist community, celebrating the talent on our doorstep.

All of the work is for sale and ideal for your perfect gift this Christmas.

Join us for a festive shopping event on Saturday 12 November, 10 - 5. Watch demos throughout the day from featured makers while enjoyed a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

Open Wednesday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm. Please note this exhibition closes at 3pm on Saturday 24 December.
