Tessellating Sculpture Workshop led by exhibiting artist Alistair Lambert

11am - 3pm

Artist Alistair Lambert will demonstrate how to use simple techniques to easily cut out and assemble interlocking elements to form a sculpture.  Using reclaimed and reused materials, explore how your forms develop and adapt to the space around them. No prior experience necessary. 

Max 8 participants, so please book early.

£50 / £45 THG Friends / Free places for 15 – 25 year olds – proof of age may be required.

Refreshments provided – half hour break for lunch, please bring a packed lunch. Part of the session may involve working outside in the secret garden so please come prepared for the weather!

About the artist:

Alistair Lambert is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors. He has been running sculpture workshops for over thirty years and aims to share his enthusiasm and fascination for this art form with you. You can view Alistair’s slate sculpture ‘Miasma’ emerging from a disused fireplace and expanding into the exhibition space of the current THG OPEN 2023.
