NATURE SHORT 7- Fourthland

Published on:
26 May 2020

Fourthland (Eva Knutsdotter Vikstrom and Isik Sayarer) is an artist collective.

Together they explore the interconnectedness of the creative process, producing work across mediums of sculpture, installation, performance, film, social  and ceremonial practice.

Working with diverse communities, the works they produce seek connectivity and an enhanced social and environmental consciousness.

"In these time of global crisis, we look to our hands for answers – our ‘handheld knowledge’ that craft our connection to past and future ancestors. We look to the rocks for guidance, these ancient gateways as an alchemical compression of time to remind us of our nature-time. We look to the river for support – for her everchanging currents to support our own flow of change. We look to the eagle for its vision, offering us the courage to fly into the horizon of freedom. We look to the sky for perspective – within the infinite weaving of stars, reminding us that we can all shine our light."
