Exhibiting artist, Richard Long, generously agreed to prepare a slide show for THG as part of our extended programme of public engagement for our exhibition: ARTIST ROOMS Richard Long Being in the Moment.
The slideshow took place in the gallery space followed by a relaxed Q&A afterwards in our new Creative Cabin in the THG garden.
A ‘Creative Dialogues’ talk as part of the original exhibition (22 February – 11 March 2020) had to be postponed, so it was wonderful to welcome Richard back as part of the revised programme following the exhibition reopening (11 July – 31 October 2020)
Due to social distancing measures, there were very limited numbers at the event but Richard kindly agreed to allow us to film it. We hope you will enjoy a fascinating insight into the practice of this renowned artist, spanning his 40 year-long career.
