Exhibiting artist Peter Ward will lead a field trip to collect earth pigments, learning about their geology and exploring simple paint making in a workshop back at the gallery. Peter has spent the last eight years researching the history and uses of earth pigments in the South West. Leaving THG at 11am to collect pigments. We will return to the gallery at 2pm to prepare and create artwork with the gathered pigments.
£8 (£5 THG Friends). Limited places so booking is essential, transport is provided. Please wear practical clothing and bring a packed lunch.
